Mass UFO Sighting in England and Ireland - Sept 21, 2012

On the night of September 21, 2012, thousands of people across the United Kingdom reported seeing extremely large, bright lights cruise across the night sky.

The media has been assuming that these are meteors, however they obviously are not.
Meteors enter the Earth's atmosphere at a speed between 30,000 and 100,000 MPH. Ever seen a shooting star? They're pretty fast right? That's what something moving 50,000 MPH looks like.

These lights are clearly, obviously, not moving that fast. Not even close.
Also, meteors burn up within a second. It is rare for a meteor to last more than even just one second. These lights, according to witnesses, were in the sky for 30-40 seconds! So again, totally impossible that these were meteors.
