Strange activities around the Sun - June 15, 2013

Solar activity will continue to increase as the solar cycle progresses toward solar maximum, expected in the 2013 time frame.

Despite 4 X-solar flares last month and a M5.9 solar flare on June 7, the sun shows little activity at the moment.

The sunspot number may be low, but the sun is far from blank. Amateur astronomers monitoring the sun report a large number of magnetic filaments snaking across the solar disk.

Weird filaments are popping up all over the solar surface and each one has a unique shape and length.

The longest one, in the sun's southern hemisphere stretches, more than 400,000 km from end to end.

If any of the filaments collapses, it could hit the stellar surface and explode, producing a Hyder flare.

The two videos show remarkable and strange activities and unknown objects around the sun which may be related to the increased number of magnetic filaments. The recordings show activities of the past two weeks.

NASA is now predicting that the Sun may generate unprecedented solar storms for a lengthy period in 2013.

Calm before the ‘solar’ storm?

The Sun Rips off a Comet's tail - May 15, 2013

Comet Lemmon (C/2012 F6), which is receding from the sun not far beyond the orbit of Earth, has just experienced a "disconnection event."

A cloud of dusty plasma is propagating down the comet's tail, shown here in a photo taken by Paul Mortfield on May 15th:

Disconnection events can be caused by CME impacts. A famous example is that of Comet Encke in 2007.

Comet Lemmon, however, is not on the same side of the sun as active sunspot AR1748. It's hard to see how the recent X-flares can be responsible. Nevertheless, solar activity is high and comets are very sensitive to stormy space weather.

Comet Encke

On April 20, 2007, the comet Encke had just dipped inside the orbit of Mercury, perilously close to the sun, when a solar eruption struck and literally tore the comet's tail off.

NASA's STEREO-A probe recorded a fantastic movie of the collision.

The eruption that hit Encke was a CME or "coronal mass ejection.

CMEs are fast-moving and massive, packing billions of tons of solar gas and magnetism into billowing clouds traveling a million-plus miles per hour.

Actually, it is a little surprising that a CME succeeded in ripping off a comet's tail. For all their mass and power, CMEs are spread over a large volume of space.

The impact of a CME exerts little more than a few nanoPascals of mechanical pressure.

The ripping action must have been something else.

"We believe the explanation is 'magnetic reconnection,'" says Vourlidas of the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C. Magnetic fields around the comet bumped into oppositely directed magnetic fields in the CME. Suddenly, these fields linked together--they "reconnected"--releasing a burst of energy that tore off the comet's tail.

Comet ISON

I wonder what would happen if an earth directed CME rips off comet ISON's tail.

Something unexpected is happening on the sun 2013

Something unexpected is happening on the sun.

2013 is supposed to be the year of Solar Max, the peak of the 11-year sunspot cycle. Yet 2013 has arrived and solar activity is relatively low. Sunspot numbers are well below their values in 2011, and strong solar flares have been infrequent for many months.

The quiet has led some observers to wonder if forecasters missed the mark. Solar physicist Dean Pesnell of the Goddard Space Flight Center has a different explanation: "This is solar maximum," he suggests. "But it looks different from what we expected because it is double peaked."

Conventional wisdom holds that solar activity swings back and forth like a simple pendulum. At one end of the cycle, there is a quiet time with few sunspots and flares. At the other end, Solar Max brings high sunspot numbers and solar storms. It’s a regular rhythm that repeats every 11 years.

Reality, however, is more complicated. Astronomers have been counting sunspots for centuries, and they have seen that the solar cycle is not perfectly regular. For one thing, the back-and-forth swing in sunspot counts can take anywhere from 10 to 13 years to complete; also, the amplitude of the cycle varies. Some solar maxima are very weak, others very strong.

Another curiosity of the solar cycle is that the sun's hemispheres do not always peak at the same time. In the current cycle, the south has been lagging behind the north. The second peak, if it occurs, will likely feature the southern hemisphere playing catch-up, with a surge in activity south of the sun's equator.

Given the tepid state of solar activity in Feb. 2013, a maximum in May now seems unlikely.

"We may be seeing what happens when you predict a single amplitude and the Sun responds with a double peak," comments Pesnell.

Incidentally, Pesnell notes a similarity between Solar Cycle 24, underway now, and Solar Cycle 14, which had a double-peak during the first decade of the 20th century. If the two cycles are in fact twins, “it would mean one peak in late 2013 and another in 2015.”

No one knows for sure what the sun will do next. It seems likely, though, that the end of 2013 could be a lot livelier than the beginning. Source: science.nasa.gov

Mini Solar System Entering Our's, Says Astrophysicist Jim McCanney

In the southern hemisphere, astronomers are currently working together with the army, tracking a mini solar system entering our solar system.

According to physicist James McCanney (Connected With Australian Learmonth Observatory) the Learmonth Solar Observatory in Australia would play a central role in the operation.

The solar observatory is operated by the U.S. Air Force and the Australian government. The observatory is part of a network that is operated by the U.S. National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO).

Hale-Bopp

According to McCanney, many astronomers and soldiers are currently on the location of Project Wormwood, (photo) with the study of planetary defense and space debris. The physicist explains that many astronomers discover planets outside our solar system, but keep this information secret.

According to McCanney, astronomers desperately looking for a mini-solar system that enters our solar system. McCanney refers to Dr. Richard Harrington of the United States Naval Observatory, who, shortly before his death on his way to Australia, would confirm the existence of Planet X / Nibiru. This planet would follow the same path as comet Hale-Bopp.

McCanney also points out that most astronomers are assigned to space programs of the elite. Most discoveries are therefore kept secret.

Change

The solar system is according to the physicist subject to change. This change has a strong influence on the sun, the weather, the planets, and so on. Governments are not going to inform the people, because the nation is not prepared for cosmic changes.

What can we expect?

McCanney thinks of more comets in our solar system, comets are captured by gas giants, the emergence of new moons, meteor showers and meteorites more than usual.

Wormwood (Planet X's name from the bible). Nibiru (Planet X's name from ancient Sumerians.

"The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water - the name of the star is Wormwood." – Revelation 8:10-11

Update April 19, 2013:
Today we received the following information from UFO Research Network that the video/information is made and uploaded on YouTube by disinformation agents to bring MCCANNEY in discredit.

Jim Mc Canney issued a press release on this, here it is:

!!!!!!!!!!!!! EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT ... DISINFORMATION UPDATE !!!! THE DISINFO CREW IS AT IT AGAIN ... AT LEAST 2 YOUTUBE POSTINGS ARE TRYING TO IMPERSONATE ME AND PASS FALSE INFORMATION ... there are at least 2 youtube videos posted recently by nameless disinformation agents placing my voice making it look like i am saying that a planet X object is coming into the solar system at this time ... THIS IS NOT TRUE ... I AM NOT SAYING ANY SUCH THING ... AND THIS IS WHY I NEVER POST ON YOUTUBE OR ANY OTHER MEDIUM EXCEPT MY OWN WEB PAGE ... what they have done is chopped segments of a 2004 program of mine and posted a february 2013 date on the face and posted on youtube under 2 different names making it sound like i am stating planet X object is now in the solar system ... then in the listener comments they of course post many slams trying to make me look like a nut case making false on Mini Solar System Entering Our's, Says Astrophysicist Jim McCanney
